So, yes, it's been awhile since the last post, but seriously, I have some excuses that you can rummage through. Just pick one, and that will be the reason why I haven't posted lately. So.......injury, graduation, housing, moving, virus. Which one do you want to hear about first? Let's start with the virus: computer virus; that's what I get for trying to download a FREE anti-virus program from an unknown source. So I was without my computer for about five days. Waiting for it to get back to me......... Thanks to Best Buy's Geek Squad and $140 later, my computer is well again.
What's next? Graduation: Yes I graduated my first school last Friday. Now I'm in hold for classing up to my next school (2 out of 4). Hence, waiting again......
Now let's talk about my injury: sprained ankle. Bruising and swelling. Got it playing basketball. It hurts. That's pretty much it. Not much more about it that you need to know. I think it was my 6th or 7th sprain on my right ankle alone, so it's nothing new. If you want to see a picture of it, just text me and I will send it to you. (if you're THAT interested) Now I'm just waiting for it to heal. Waiting......
Now, these next excuses, I will lump into one category. Housing, Moving. Yes, Bri and I will be together again soon. As I type this she is in the vicinity of Amarillo, Texas. That means it's only 3 or 4 more days until she walks over the threshold of our new home :) Very exciting! But, there is something that needs to happen first. It's called waiting. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Why must there be waiting? I know why. Because what would be the point of it all, if there isn't the suspense of waiting?
Waiting- to begin class, in order to learn something new, so that I can use it for my career here in the Navy and beyond, if I choose to get out after my enlistment is up.
Waiting- for my injury to heal, knowing that God has put in us the ability to heal.
Waiting- for my wife and our 2 critters to make it here safe. Knowing that waiting is half the battle, but a battle already won in my eyes, because the suspense, and the love of having the most precious wife and companion on this planet, traveling 3100 miles for me? Yeah, me? Is amazing to me. What more could I want? Nothing....absolutely nothing.
But yes, I sit here and wait. Maybe I'll go play a video game or something......
