A new post....

Yes, a new post.
I'm so glad this part of school is almost over. All tests and quizzes are done with. Now just graduation on Friday. Administrative stuff in the meantime. Oh yeah, and this "trying to get my wife here to live with me stuff". At least that's how the Navy seems to put it. I honestly think the military doesn't really think highly of families, especially when they always ask the same question - "why do you want your wife out here? Can't you just wait a year until you are done with school?" At least the fools who either don't understand marriage, love and commitment, or they don't care too highly of their own spouse/family, ask that question. It's deteriorating when you have some who are here to help, but then there are those who try to make it difficult for you in the process of it all. Why can't it be simple? Life isn't simple, but things in life ARE simple. Why can't this be one of them. At least I have a few days where I'm not bombarded with studying, to focus on the details of getting to the goal. The goal being: house and family here with me in Groton. That's it. That's all I ask for. Time to hunker down and start making the Navy do their job. I've been doing mine. Now it's time for them to do theirs. I think this pneumonia is almost out of my system. Now I can start focusing. Hey, I'm old. I can't do two things at once. And when I'm sick, I can't really do one thing at once. That's just the way it is.
